Prospector/Contracting and acquisitions agent

He or she is the one who follows up on leads, looking for clients to contact by phone.

They prospect for new clients, whom they introduce to the concept of the business and they identify the person with decision-making power over acquisitions, in order to detect any opportunities and clients who have a real potential of making an acquisition.

They establish the first and more important contact with the suppliers.

Prospectors keep in constant touch with the buyers responsible for the acquisitions process. Occasionally, they attend trade fairs to represent the company and identify opportunities and clients who have a real potential of making an acquisition.
